Not at all. With TR being in a state of flux, I'm not posting there at the moment. I am writing reviews just the same, and several have been posted here. I thought about posting a thread of Ken Byron bends not posted at TR, but figured I should ask a mod for permission first.

When I write the review for Jim's Special Flake, I'll post it in this thread.

I just ordered 4oz of it anyway. I'm sure it's going to be good. Just wondering about its strength and nic hit. It's been said before, but you should have your own website, though I get what that would entail, so I'm not holding my breath!

Here tis!

The matured bright Virginia flakes provide a lot of fermented tart and tangy citrus, bread, sour lemon, vegetative grass, some sugar, floralness, spice, hay, a little earth, wood and a hint of acidity. Has a couple of mild, sugary fruit toppings. The strength and nic-hit are a couple of steps past the center of mild to medium, while the taste is a notch short of the medium threshold. Won’t bite or get harsh. Has a few small rough edges as bright Virginias will, but the toppings greatly reduce them. It’s mildly moist, but I saw no need for any dry time. Your mileage may vary on that point. Burns cool, clean and a little slow with a very consistent, rather comfortable flavor from start to finish. Has a moderately lingering, pleasant after taste. The room note is a tad stronger. Leaves little dampness in the bowl. Requires a few relights. Can be an all day smoke. Four stars out of four.

I like the hedgehog artwork.
Considering that I was an artist on Sonic the Hedgehog for twenty-one years, I thought it was very appropriate. What was really cool - and they didn't know this - is that the only sweaters I wear are button ups. That was a great touch. It's a great label, and I didn't know anything about the label or the name of the blend until I got it in the mail. That was quite a surprise and very humbling.

So funny and interesting.
I LOVE the adorable label and the blend. It’s such a rich and, to me, complex straight Virginia.
Very well done Jim and Ken.
