But.....

My latest order from smokingpipes is being held at customs - pretty sure a 1lb block would drive them insane. Even though I love Orientals and Jeremy has done some interesting things with them lately, I'm a bit on the fence due to the potential for $280 duty (Up to $17.50 per ounce when they get nasty).

I really really appreciate these kinds of reviews, especially for something that requires a 1lb $60 buy-in. They helped me make a decision on the Cringle Flake 2021 and boy I'm glad I went for it, have a feeling this will be the same. Thanks Jim!

This does SOUND tasty, but I am on the fence as well. Equally because of the potential tax slap and because I am not sure how much my unrefined palate will pick up on all the described flavours…

Great review Jim. I wish my chemistry could tolerate Virginias better. Once it gets over 15% ish percent, I am riddled with chemical burns. Sucks....

I know everyone isn't a fan of C&D, but I think Jeremy has done a remarkable job with new blends, and sustaining their established blends, as reflected by this jiminks review on this new blend... I definitely want to try this blend up the road. I hope it catches on. Being mostly a one-bowl-a-day guy, an all-day smoke isn't required, and this sounds delicious.

Well, I just called Jim and he has imparted his mystic secrets upon me. I would let you all know what they are but I have been sworn to secrecy. All I can say is that the secrets are really good.
