We have a tobacco packed Pipes Magazine Radio Show for you tonight. First, Brian will go deep on aging and cellaring tobaccos. Then instead of the usual shorter recurring segment of "Ask the Blender" with Jeremy Reeves of Cornell & Diehl, we will have Q&A with him for the longer main segment of the show. We asked you to send questions about tobacco and we got enough for an extended segment. We also found some old ones that fell through the cracks. After the music and mailbag segments, Brian has a tobacco related rant as well.

The show airs every Tuesday at 8:00pm eastern US time, and can be found at PipesMagazine.com and all podcast apps.

Jeremy is providing me with some Scarface desk-scene energy sitting with those bricks of leaf.IMG_7789.jpeg
Also, Brian mentions Justin going through the forum comments, is this a Pipes Magazine Radio Show new character announcement, or have I just not been paying attention?
The fact that Bijou uses some 2003 Red Virginia is a cool tidbit to drop mid-conversation; makes me feel good about the couple of tins I have, and very good about the one tin I used to home blend with Perique.
As for folks complaining about purchasing 30 tins of Carolina Red Flake w/ Perique, I mean what can I say, if they’re following Brian on instagram to see the haul and complain why aren’t they following Cornell & Diehl to see when it’s released? Tons of other brick and mortar and online retailers also got some, it was a big run, and it’ll be back in a couple years if you missed it. People just have a knee-jerk impulse towards negativity, I guess, and perhaps they’re self-soothing a bit.
Anyway, great show this week.

Hearing Jeremy talk about about his craft makes me appreciate the time we live in as pipe smokers. We've taken some hits the last 10 years, but we really do have some craftsman still out there making pipes and tobacco. These are still the good ole days, especially if you still live in one of the free states in America. I'm looking forward to trying Bijou, it's been on my shelf for a year now so maybe it's time. It does make me wonder though, how do they hold leaf for that long without it turning to dust and/or losing it's flavor?

I was fortunate enough to have a few private conversations with him when I had Instagram. He struck me as an honest and humble person, very funny. It's a pleasure to listen to his reviews. A large online tobacco shop, where I was able to stock up on their magnificent and varied brand. God bless you, Jeremy.
