It was Levi 550s for me for years, until I went to buy new ones and they were all made out of thin shitty fabric. Now I don't think they even make them.

Got lucky and found some relaxed fit pre-faded Wranglers on Amazon, Ive been buying those for several years.

The Spandex jeans used to be for women's jeans, now that's how 99% of jeans are. If you work in those jeans you will be unhappy with 'em.

my wallet kept falling out of the back pocket of my jeans, ha ha. I need a button or zipper on the back pocket.
I got tired of sitting on a what seemed like 2" thick wallet and switched to a front pocket wallet. Half the crap in my wallet was stuff I hardly ever or never used. Now it's just my DL, a couple credit/debit cards and maybe a folded up $100 bill.

That is a nice shirt, John. You would fit right in here in New Mexico wearing that shirt. I’m not going to ask why you need your pants reinforced in the crotch 🤣
I asked AI and its to prevent blowouts

Jeans are reinforced in the crotch to prevent blowouts, which commonly occur due to friction and tension from body movements. This reinforcement helps extend the life of the jeans by providing extra durability in a high-stress area.

Hmmm…. I had never heard of such a thing before. It was amusing to my juvenile mind. 😆

I guess you could say that I live in “jeans”, although to me they’ll always be dungarees. My summer attire is 501s, t-shirt, and sneakers (except on the golf course, naturally). In winter, it’s 501s, flannel shirt, and boots (Timberlands).

I worked in tech and dress codes were simply “you must” for the most part. I will never understand the wearing of ties - who came up with that idea?

“Hey guys, I’ve got a great idea! Let’s take this piece of cloth and tie it in a knot around our necks!"

Don’t get me started about why some pants are called “slacks”...
