This is my first Mouton, though I’ve admired his pipes for a while now. In the second photo it’s shown alongside another squat tomato by Adam Davidson, which is loaded with some Palmetto Balkan and ready to go.

I've had squashed tomato lust forever, I think. @JimInks has an absolute beaut he smokes often. They're uncommon and I think a commission from the right carver might be the only way.
I was inspired to get one because I had seen a Poul Winslow one that was incredibly beautiful. It was also $500 and there was no chance of affording the money for it. Basil Meadows made a beauty for me, and it's one of my favorite pipes as you know.
I agree that, unless you get very lucky, the best way to get the squashed tomato you want to commission from the right carver.
By the.way, I used the descriptor “squat” tomato rather than “squashed” tomato because MBSD where I got it described it as “

Looking at them again, I think squat and squashed might be distinct shapes, to be fair. These are squat and very attractive they are too.
