I went to the Photobucket website to see what the problem was, they want me to pay them $400.00 for me to use my photo here. I don't think so.

They told me $39, but still too much with all of the other free photo sites out there. I lost all of my photo posts also. I wrote them a FU email, and deleted most of my pictures. I would have deleted them all, but I had thousands in there.

Very cool. We are just about done making the bedroom disabled friendly and I have my PC back. Next to it is a nice printer and I am going to be putting some round labels into it for jar tops. I hope I do have as good as y'all have.

Photobucket decided to block all third party uses of their websites and app. All of the pictures that I have posted over the years here are all gone, as well as everyone who used their services.

Hmm. But others apparently ARE seeing the photos in this thread. So I get why MY PB pictures might not show up, but why can't I see PB pictures posted by others that other CAN see?
Not sure I'm explaining this right. Just that I cannot see the photos in this thread which, evidently, are visible to others.

tslex, this is an old thread, four years old to be exact. The photos in the thread don't actually physically exist in this thread. they exist on a third party (PhotoBucket) server. Four years ago, or even one month ago, you could see the photos, and people commented on them at that time. Once PhotoBucket restricted third-party access (several weeks ago?), the images were no longer visible in this thread.
So you have here a four year old thread, with photos that aren't actually embedded in the thread, but that link to the PhotoBucket server, which has now cut off access to third-party viewers like PipesMagazine, unless the customer that posted the pix pays a suitable ransom user fee.
Clear as mud?

And to further muddy the situation, yesterday kiltedpiper posted a shitbucket site photo that was visible for a while yesterday. But x number of hours later, it was no longer.
This site hosts photos, and one can remove the small size it defaults to, so you can show good sized images here.

My handheld label maker is going to have to do me from here on. The old link above to the software used does no longer work.
I am going to get my photos off PhotoSuckIt downloaded and put on a drive stick that has software made for keeping photos on. After that is successful, I won't ever go back there.
