I picked up a new pipe (new to me) and I am pretty happy with it. I had to spend more than I usually would, but what a hunk of wood! I may break it in tonight.

Looks like some handsome flame grain going on.
Don't think I've seen a "Tradition" JU, but the FH stamp indicates it's post- Ken Barnes(1989). Definitely a Barry Jones-esque shape!

I had to get it in the sun to see that grain, the stain is kinda dark. From what I have read, the Tradition was part of their Empire series of big pipes. If what I read was correct, these were also special in that they have a hand made stem.
