Jack Howell Bandwagon

Okay you miscreants, degenerates, enablers and pipe smoking brethren.... the posts about Jack Howell made me curious.

If you’re me, curious is dangerous.

So I popped onto his website to see his process for a potential commission, and although I certainly have commissioned pipes, only one is a true commission.

It normally goes like this, I’d like a Dublin, or a Billiard or whatever and that’s it for my input.

If I tried to design a pipe it would look like an unrecognizable glob of firewood. I know what I’m good at and design isn’t it.

So I’m on his site and he has a pipe for sale, sweet. It fits my specs. Sweeter. It’s sandblasted. Sweetest.

Here’s pictures from his website. I’ll let you know how it smokes. Of course I’ll compare it to a Ryan Alden.
