Asking because my 1929 Bruyere ( my father's year of birth ; still alive, not so much kicking ) patent 196 is close to 6.69 inches

Model 196 is a heavier cousin, this has a total length of 6,49'' bore-0.74 'weight 1,19ozCongrats ; very noice, awesome and spiffy too

Could not refrain from buying this smaller brother of 197 model ,the famous 113 Root briar in group 2 size ,production of 1965, quite sophisticated,long and lean pipe if you ask me
