CH may be primarily burley, but it is intended to be an "all day" smoke - and one probably does not want their all-day smoke to be high nic.
I don't like high nic blends myself - I never smoked cigs, so am not seeking high levels to maintain my habit. It's all about the palate, for me.

That would make sense Jud, if intended as an all day smoke then I would agree. Oh well like I said, I'll smoke the higher nic blends on the weekend when I can really take it slow. Also probably try to have those earlier in the day so I don't feel strange right before bed.

The nicotine really bothered me when I first started this hobby. Over time, I have built up a nicotine resistance and can now smoke just about anything. My suggestion is to lay down your pipe at the beginning of the heavy buzz and come back to it later when your brain has cleared (maybe lighting up a second low octane pipe in between). Roth's recommendations were spot on also.
