For those who don't know. The Groundhog day movie was filmed in Woodstock, IL. That is about an hour north of my home. About two years ago, I took a vacation day, and the kids missed a school day and we all went up to Woodstock and took part in the festivities. Every year they recreate the celebration that the movie showed. It was a lot of fun, but very cold.

Well, apparently Phil did not see his shadow, so looks like an early spring. (Of course Phil may not have been informed about the impending new ice age...time will tell.)

Nothing like being ill and the wife texting ya "I got You Babe" as a wake up call :nana: One of my favorite Bill Murray movies lol. I can definitely use an early spring!

I live 15 minutes away, Marengo/Union, and all three of our kids live in Woodstock. If anyone gets a chance to visit Woodstock stop at the Illinois Railway Museum in Union. The filmed a couple of movies and an episode of Chicago Fire there. My wife and I spent 5 days at the railway museum being extras. It was fun to be part of it. I believe it was season 2 episode 7 (?)...the train crash episode.
