It's cooled down also in SE New York, but still not cool enough for me. This July was the hottest I can remember. I love 50s and 60s with low humidity. I wish I could find a little cabin like that in this area. Everything affordable, though not cheap, is just too far north. I'm tired of apartment living ever since my divorce.

This week has been gorgeous in neighboring Connecticut after a brutal July. It was too hot and humid to smoke on the patio. It looks like next week we'll be back to 90+ with three digit "real feels". I'm going to enjoy this whilst I can.

If you wanna move, I have lots of land for sale. Its the huge thorn in my side keeping me here in NYS.
If I could sell this land, I would be gone in a week. :)
We have about 440 acres of beautiful rural land with forests, meadows, ponds, and creeks. Also plenty of fresh springs.
The problem is, its all landlocked.
The only way in is our 160 acre farm.
Everyone wants 3 acres here, or 5 acres there. That would cause a logistical nightmare! :)
None of the surrounding landowners will sell a right of way. And I don't want a road servicing 64 seperate properties going through our farm.
Like I said, a HUGE thorn in my side. :)
