Congratulations! I have a large David Jones Poker myself, it's a great pipe, and a nice value. It's my campfire smoke, when I have two hours to sit, she's a big one!

Allan I used to have a small pipe about 3/3-1/2" long and it was one of the best clenchers I had it was very light so never made my jaw soar and the smoke never bothered me because it was held off to the side of my face. I hope that helps.
On the down side it was small as in the bowl wasn't very big and the smoke only lasted bout 10min but this poker should be a longer smoke
