Thanks jvnshr!
I have a question for you or someone else who has worked with MS Office 2007. I've done two previous installs of MS Office on my previous computers that have gone defunct over the years and and never had a problem. This last one has just been a mess concerning Outlook.
Problem 1
Outlook pauses at random times as if it's looking for some file somewhere that doesn't exist. It usually lasts around 30 seconds. It's very annoying if I'm in a hurry to get things done since there i can't do anything except minimize it do something else.
Problem 2
Deleted messages are not going into the "Trash" folder even though it is on the list of subscribed IMAPI folders.
I thought the easiest thing to do would be to just uninstall Outlook but all that does is hide the program.
is there an app out there that will completely uninstall Outlook so I can do a clean install?
Thanks for any advise!

I would run through these first:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2652320
Then I'd check for phantom mailboxes or folders.

You know, I upgraded and used it for a week, then un-upgraded. It's pretty easy to go back to Windows 7, if that's what you've got, so nothing to lose by trying it out.
I didn't like all the social media stuff, touchscreen friendliness and the ugly colored boxes on my desktop monitor. I didn't like the start menu, either.
My wife put it on her old laptop and likes it.
The Edge browser was ok.
Some people are concerned about privacy issues with Windows 10 but you can disable all the things that provoke that.
I hear Windows 10 is the only way to get DX 12, so if you are a serious gamer that would be something to consider. I'll eventually upgrade again but I'll wait until the last minute. I just like the clean look of Windows 7.

I like it. But, it's new, so I didn't upgrade production machines. You can register for the upgrade, download it and then not install it. If you register, in theory, it will always be available to you.
Smart move on MSFT's part: standardize. We'll see if it pans out. Their greatest competition has always been from themselves.

I am really sorry for my late response

Probably it is sending/receiving emails in the background or archiving emails. To find the reason
1) Click on send/receive and process will be started manually. Does outlook pause like those random times?

2) Go to Tools-Options-Other-Auto Archive and check preferences. I would set it to 30 days.
In case of above scenarios, Outlook should not pause or might slightly pause. If that is the case, then I would check the RAM of the computer.
Deleted messages are not going into the "Trash" folder even though it is on the list of subscribed IMAPI folders.
Go to View-Current View and check Filter, is it off? Just click on "reset current view" and check if it is fixed.

Download latest version and install it. Go to Tools-Uninstall. After uninstalling Microsoft Office, go to Registry and Scan For Issues. After the scan, click on Fix Selected Issues, a question regarding the backup will occur, click no and click Fix All Selected Issues. Hope it helps.

Windows 10... should I take the free upgrade I keep being offered?
I totally agree with Tuold. I still use Windows 7. And until Windows 7 I used Windows XP. Those are the best OS of Windows for me.

Hi guys, I don't know why I never thought of that before, but I'd like to offer my help in IT, I am more of a MacOS for now, and all Apple products. That being said, I've been working on MS as well for a very long time.

Recently, I'm not too familiar with the specifics of new Operating Systems of MS, but any other issue that is not OS specific, I am very very happy to help.
