It Is So Hot. How Hot Is It?

The thermometer read 91F here in my part of PA, but what made it today bad was the 90% humidity.

It was 73 degrees in my living room today, wonderful weather for a smoke! Outside however.....it was 91 deg. with 90% humidity, f#€k that shit! I thrive in cold weather, I am perfectly happy when the thermometer reads 0 deg.. The way I look at it, you just add more layers of clothing to keep warm in frosty weather. On the other hand, if it's hot and humid, there isn't much you can do, other than go inside into the a/c.

The weather out there today is hot and shitty with continued hot and shitty in the afternoon. Tomorrow a chance of continued crappy with a pissy weather front coming down from the north. Basically, it's hotter than a snake's ass in a wagon rut.

A front came through and we got a nice downpour, so no watering the garden in the damp heat. Tomorrow we're supposed to enjoy a "cool front," that is, a few degrees cooler, which may feel somewhat better. Hey, it's the last week in July. No frostbite problems.

For folks who don't live in Kansas, don't think most of them realize how hot it gets here in the summer. We're working on 2 weeks of highs of 100 or better. Last week had several consecutive days of 110. Will take our winters over our summers for sure. Winter, it tends to stay in a high range of 40-60. Earl

Hot here for me, 81˚F at 8100 feet elevation.

Expected to be cooler during the remainder of the week, mid-60's to low 70's. Ideal outdoors temperatures, especially for pipe smoking.

26 C / 79 F in sunny blue-skied Fort Langley BC Canada as I write; it is forecasted to be 27 C and 28 C all week. With only 45% humidity it is very pleasant. I love dry heat over 30 C, but heat, even moderate heat, with a high humidity is the least comfortable weather situation for me.
