It finally came!!!

I have a feeling this little cold of mine should be done by tomorrow or Friday at the latest. I hope so, because that pipe has been taunting me ever since I got it.

I just got a new pipe in the mail Tuesday! Before I could try it out I came down with Laryngitis! Is there a new pipe curse or some thing?

Well good news for me, I'm finally feeling well enough to smoke this puppy, so I'll be a happy man tonight.

And it smokes awesome. Unfortunatly I did experience gurggling for the first time. But it's still an excelent pipe. Just thought I'd let you all know that. Ok, we can now put this thread to rest.

congrats on the pipe, it's certainly a handsome one! and good that your cold is clearing too....i find i get gurgling in a bent/semi bent if i smoke too fast (such as when i am eager to try a new pipe) but it's a problem that is easily solved

Yes I have a small briar that is prone to gurgling. My other not so much. I am still to sick to try my new pipe. I guess since my son started kindergarten he is sharing all the germs with me! Soon, very soon I will be able to try my new tobacco blends and pipe.
