Issue With Reply Box Taskbar

Using a mobile device, the taskbar menu has gone gray and none of them work when tapped.



This has happened to me before, but there has always been an icon to tap that activates them again.
It's been going on for a few days now and it's driving me bonkers.
I feel like I'm missing something obvious.
Anyone?

Try tapping on the three dots. Then tap on the brackets. [ ]
