Honestly Cosmic, funny enough they both feel the same to me if I base it on mouth/teeth feel. Both Acrylic and Ebonite. Either way it makes no difference to me what it is, but I am curious none the lessCumberland is actually a Dunhill marketing term, but I know what you mean. Yes, they look like brindled vulcanite. But, acrylics have gotten pretty good at making a brindled acrylic as well. How do they feel to your teeth? is it soft like vulcanite?
Then, it doesn't really matter. But, I will bet it's vulcanite.they both feel the same to me if I base it on mouth/teeth feel
Thank you Sasquatch. I appreciate your expertise my friend. Those are both vulcanite based swirl (cumberland, yes), rather than acrylic. 100% certainty. The acrylic never, ever looks like that, it's always more sort of mottled than streaky, glassy looking.
