Hello, I bought some more aromatics, I don’t know why they come in zipblog bags, anyways I have not opened them but because they were in bags and I will not smoke them for a while I put them on mason jars, is this ok? (In mason jars inside the zipblog bag) are there aging?

That is perfectly fine. You can ditch the bag if you want. The jar is all you really need.

I would think that after some time, that may impart a plasticky flavor to the tobacco. I would just dump it out of the bag into the jar.

Yep. Ive got a pouch of Middleton Cherry Blend ive kept in a jar since 2016. Smoke a couple bowls at Christmas time every year then tighten it up till next year. Of course its in a foil pouch it came in.

Yes, cheaper. Less money! Not for long term storage. Meant to be smoked right away

Aromatics won’t show much benefit from aging.

Being in a baggie shouldn’t have much, if any effect on aging. They’re neither airtight or impermeable.

Maybe. Aging aromatics isn't much of a thing, because the toppings can fade over a number of years.

Best take them out of the bag and jar them or bag them in metallized Mylar.

If you are going to do jars, you may want smaller ones, nearer the quantity of tobacco. A little air is okay, but maybe not more than half the jar. I agree you are better off not including the baggie for aging a blend.
