Is This Mold? 2022 Cringle Flake

It's a bit hard to tell without a more close up shot but it looks like mold especially since it's in one specific area. If it is fuzzy it's mold, if it is crystalline, it's plume.
That looks more like mold than plume to me. Better pix would help.
What I'm seeing along the bottom edge of the flake in the 2nd image looks more like plume, but these broad areas look more like mold.
In any event, when in doubt, throw it out. All of it.

I can always smell mold before I can see it. But, I take it from the way guys seem to not be able to even taste the tobaccos, that smelling them may be a challenge as well.

Damn. I tried really hard. I even took it outside to get into the sunlight. Oh well. Thank you for your input anyhow.
Thank you. Some parts of it look a little fuzzy but other parts definitely sparkle in the sunshine. It still smells fantastic.
This is the kind of picture that needs a macro lens and a little brighter light.
I hesitate to say, "then just smoke it," because I am not familiar with how well you can smell things, ha ha. All I can say is that it is your own risk. Do you trust yourself? I am not going to take the blame for giving the greenlight. If you are hesitant, then maybe that is a sign.
If you’re undecided, you could jar it and keep an eye on it. Put the spot facing the outside of the jar and check in every few months. If it spreads like wild fire at least you have your answer.
Thats one of those hard ones to answer without seeing really up close photos, Im tempted to say its not mold as I have had plume look like that, but hard to say 100%
You see how the bottom picture the patch of white stuff is like network of a fine spider nest? Mold. It looks like something grown on a media in a petri dish.
My gut reaction was it’s mold but it’s hard to tell, if it is mold you caught it early…

I would call Sutliff Tobacco Company and ship this back for them to review. I would open another tin to also check. Please keep us posted.
