This is a brand new Ropp pipe. I’m not sure what I’m seeing. Stain maybe? Is this common in a new pipe in the 100-150 dollar range? If that is stain should it be smoked like that. Ideas on how to remedy it or just smoke away?IMG_2586.jpeg

I’d assume you’re talking about irregular color inside the bowl. I’d smoke it.

I don’t see anything out of the ordinary in the bowl. I’d light it up. I’m not seeing anything pictured in the chamber that would lead to a burn out. It just looks like a bowl stain that was unevenly applied.

I hate to be the one to break this to you... It's not healthy to smoke anything.
Aren't we a strange bunch! We worry about stain,bowl coatings, different wood, mouthpiece material,lighter fuel and wondering if it's ok to smoke them all the while sucking in all the carcinogens in tobacco. We are a strange bunch, but then again, why make the tobacco more harmful than it already is.
