That’s a Meer from the Isle of Man.

Peterson’s came out of the same factory, that’s ones not a Pete.

Peterson referred to the style of carving as aboriginal and the Meerschaum came from Africa, not Turkey.

For all intents and purposes it’s an 80s. It probably didn’t meet Petersons standards and was branded as a Manx/Laxey pipe and sold at a lower price.

Peterson bought out the Manx company, they closed it down and that meer was after this, it was crafted in Southern Ireland after they closed it down, not many were made so it is rare.

Yeup, got busy this week and missed everything I was looking at. A couple other unsmoked 70's "Austria" meers I was watching went for under 30 bucks. Fu--crap.
