Looking for a little advice on a tin of Savinelli I recently bought. Can anyone tell me if the date on the bottom of this tin is a manufacturing or packing date? If so, I would guess that I got lucky by getting one which has been aged from the supplier. Correct? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It does not sell well, so it is quite possible to get old stock. It is a very nice blend though!
A very underated blend, IMO. That's actually a good thing for those of us in the know. Good deals are out there and it looks like you snagged one.
