I have found that a standard kitchen metal mixing bowl is the best option for mixing 2 oz or more of tobacco. Let's me really dig in and mix it well without spilling. Flat rigid trays have been more challenging for me to pour the results out of into jars or mylar bags.

The tray you showed looks very cool however. :)

HI,

I am interested in mixing some of my tobaccos and I am looking for a tray. Not a huge amount, mostly 2oz total. Will a tray like this work? Is 11 x 7 , a good size? Thanks

View attachment 399391 I think it's amusing.
I personally prefer a bowl for mixing tobaccos. The slope and extra height help with the blending. Since this image could possibly constitute a copyright infringement or IP theft, I'll send this along to my friends at Warner Brothers legal.

Better buy it quickly...

I would steer you away from any sort of tray.

Get yourself a decent - 12" Diameter - sized Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl. You want to get both hands in there and mix freely and casually, without tabak going all over the place.

This will help to ensure even dispersion of all the ingredients in your mixture, easy to work with; AND, the tabak STAYS in the mixing bowl.

Stay away from a plastic bowls, as static electricity will build-up and you'll spend time trying to pick all these little tabak flakes off the sides of a plastic bowl. - Sherm Natman
