I have a MM hardwood pipe with a much bigger crack. It's a great smoker and seems to be going strong.

I would just leave it alone and monitor the situation. I have a nice old estate pipe that came to me with a hair-thin crack on the outside I was similarly worried about.
For a couple days I was trying to somehow gauge whether it was a crack that went all the way through because of burnout damage, or if it was a crack just on the outside, would it somehow spread and ruin everything... one can go crazy with all that.
In the end I just left it alone and it never budged. I check on it every once in a while but leave well enough alone.
As several people said, there are ways to treat serious cracks, Steve from rebornpipes has many blog posts on how he does it, but yours is nowhere near that severe, if it even is a crack.
