Is my pipe doomed or can this be repaired?

This is why i love my old buttner reamer, the old style with the rounded edges, makes it super easy to keep a nice thin layer of cake with no fuss and no knives.

Are there any good threads on pipe tools? I know there aren't that many different tools, but I'm still curious. I'm most interested in hacks that people have found or made that were intended for other purposes. I like me a multi-tool. If it can do other jobs, I'm all for it.
