Wow! Now we have identified the man who actually buys the stuff! I thought it was an urban myth. There is a chap on here, I think he maybe a lawyer who probably has a couple of hundred tins of the stuff who might sell you a few. He has the most breath taking horde of tobacco I have ever seen. If I remember his name I will PM you. You might also ask @woodsroad, I don't have any tins as I gave all mine away to people who asked me for them and I was never a huge fan of the 'Green' since I always felt like I was smoking a bowl of ODF soaked in Sambuca.

my dear War Horse may be dead

No, not dead, but put out to pasture. War Horse is now living someplace in the country where the grass is always green and moist with dew, he can frolic with friends, and mares abound.

Or perhaps he was sent to the knacker’s yard and can be found in cans of Alpo at a Safeway near you. It would be ironic if War Horse has simply gone from one tin to another.

Jon, in times of great difficulty, you always have the right words to comfort.

Look just because that cart that took him to pasture had the logo for a glue factory on it doesn't mean that he was turned to dog food. They probably just forgot to paint over the logo.

I slept on war horse until it was too late. Probably would have liked it. I should have ordered a bar before it was gone. Really enjoy those funky “Irish” plugs like Condor and Yachtsman (I think), even the versions in production today. After I stopped ordering from P&C due to their billing system issues, it just slipped my mind and then slipped away

Wish I had bought more as I really enjoyed the licorice smell. Still have some in some mason jars I will slowly burn away...

Licorice, hmmmm. Mine smelled like Play-Doh. Ha ha. I bought twenty tins of each when it was first released, and I still have most of this left.
