Is It Possible To Switch A Pipe From One Designated Blend To Another?

I've neutralized dozens of pipes. So it's very possible to rid your pipe of past loves and other mistaken judgements. But there's one part of the process that everyone overlooks and it's not a minor part, cleaning out the mortise, really and sincerely cleaning out the mortise. Old evils lurk in the mortise. All of the above suggestions are good as far as they go (well, not the lat bomb suggestion) and there's also retorting when several S/A treatments don't quite do the job as well as ozone and baking the pipe with activated charcoal. But the entire airway needs to be neutralized, not just the bowl.

I posted a thread about a year ago about Exotic Passion (Exotic Orange) ghosting my pipe. All replies essentially said it doesn't happen with that blend and my experience was unique. Thank you Carolina! You have proven that I'm not crazy.

Oh no, you are certainly not, my friend! As I said, after many bowls of many other things, I can still sniff this bowl and get that passion fruit smell, even more so on the draw from a full bowl.

Either I clean my pipes incredibly well or my palate is not sensitive enough to notice a ghosting.
