I dont know but I wouldnt be surpised. A lot of people dont want to bother with tariffs. Its not a lot harder for the shipper...but it is a little more paperwork. My guess is people dont want to pay the additional fees who are doing the importing.

Just checked 4Noggins, and they have Mallard in stock. The Mallard Perique is OOS though.
I know some people don't like 4Noggins, but I've always had great success, and being that I'm all the way across the country, I always get my orders within a week. Other places, it takes almost 2 weeks, so I appreciate their fast shipping.

Yeah every smoking pipes order takes longer..

But if you really like it, like have a shrine to it in the living room ... buy what you can

Those German kids show dan tobacco making 167 different sizes of tobacco a 50, a 100, and a 250 for each flavor typically. Some odd blends

I know the pain. I've been watching my hair turn grey as I wait for semois to be restocked.
If Mr. Dan is suffering under new regulations like Mr. Manil (semois) then the problem is that new regulations demand new standardized packaging rules, stricter accounting, “track & trace” requirements. I know that the new rules went into effect on April 1, 2025 in Belgium. These new rules might be no problem for large companies like STG, but they are a huge burden for a small operation.

In Belgium the new rules also demand that tobacco products must be kept out of sight in closed cabinets, turning these little shops into a compliance projects. Another semois producer, Jean-Paul Couvert, closed his production down for this reason.

I was not aware of that. Thanks for the info.
