I bought it bulk, it's in a zip bag
if its BULK, we have no clue what the hell you actually have.

For all we know it could be a bag of captain black cherry.

THAT stuff, the one time i had it, was so wet the bag dripped liqoud out. And the tobacco itself would extinguish burning kitchen matches when touched to it. I had a bag open on a counter for a week or two, and it never dried out.

I tend to smoke mostly aromatics due to being indoors, and keeping my wife happy.
Luckily haven't had anything that's been so wet that they wouldn't dry to a good point after a few hours or overnight at most. Can't imagine seeing tobacco drip - yuck!?

never, not even once has cap'n black cherry ever dripped liquid from the pouch unless someone added liquid to it. i'm all for hyperbole but no.

It is C&D bulk blends, flavors posted.
To young for the RIF programs as a child, or too worried about what you’re comment would be to read the question?

It really depends on the blending house. C&D's sweetened cavendish does tend to be pretty darn egregiously wet and sticky, while their unsweetened cavendish is usually fairly dry. Lane, Peter Stokkebye, and Gawith's cavendish generally comes lightly moist but not so much that it would need any dry time before smoking. Cavendish from the dearly departed Sutliff varied anywhere from sopping wet to lightly moist depending on the blend, and Mac Baren's was generally on the drier side.

In this particular case though, C&D's aromatic blends that have a pure black cavendish base typically come soaking wet and stickier than a dive bar bathroom floor so it sounds like what the original poster received is fairly par for the course.

I have C&D Black Cherry, Black Cavendish, and Green River Vanilla jarred up. All three are very wet. So, as others have said, what you have is typical. They burn fine after some drying time. If it still sizzles dry it longer. Spread it evenly on a plate and give it the pinch test periodically until it doesn’t clump together, then try smoking it.

“‘stickier than a dive bar bathroom floor” hilarious 🤣
