This is the first time I've done something like this in 25+ years on the Internet, and promise it will not become a habit. It's unlikely to ever happen again, in fact.
In the course of discussing repair work I encountered someone on the pipemakers.com forum who happened to live nearby, so was able to meet him and examine his work in hand.
It was quite good. Astoundingly good given his experience level---he started pipe making from a dead stop in late 2017---and his rate of improvement was stellar. Intuition, instinct, tool sense, visualization, and so forth... it's all there.
Today I saw his latest project, and realized when I could find nothing significant wrong with it that he'd crossed into Truly Talented New Carver territory, and deserved a proper introduction to the PipeWorld. National-class stem work and shaping without line breaks is NOT something you see every day from a "newbie". (Indeed, I've seen it only an handful of times before this, and they're all stars today.)
So, here you go. They're not my photos, but they'll do.
PS -- The internals are perfect. He studies, listens, and applies. It's all there. The button shape is even his own design and is super comfortable.
If you have questions about, or are interested in buying this pipe, Doug can be reached by PM. His boardname is "Doug535". The price is $300
