CI screwed up and should be apologetic. I think I now know why McClellands disappeared from their site
On the other hand, however, the can DOES say "Navy Cavendish Pipe Tobacco".
Either way, I just added McClelland Navy Cavendish (100g tin) to my shopping cart at P&C. That stuff looks great. I don't blame you one iota for being blinded by it.

Just a heads up I'd crack the tin of blackwoods and let it breathe for a good 2 weeks. First time I tried it I was dissapointed, then after letting the tin breathe for a good 2 weeks with just the plastic lid on and opening it every few days, it did something and made it alot better. I have the same tin now that's been open for a good 4 months with just the plastic lid on and it's still getting better. Broken flakes you can still cube cut, it's not much different in the end. They're just not uniform perfect flakes. I really can't think of any McC's tinned flakes with latkia in them except Blakeneys Best Latakia Flake but it's supposed to be more on the sweet side. I'd try Charles Fairmorn Lancers Slices for a flake with a good amount of latakia in it, except it's bulk only I believe.

Just a thought. I don't decide what to buy from retailer sites. I don't buy anything I haven't researched myself through review sites, or had recommended by people who either know my tastes, or I know have tastes similar to my own. I certainly am not going to order based on a picture. Read the description of what you are buying. Yeah, CI screwed up, but the fact that the tin pic says navy Cavendish and the description says Oriental 14 shoulda been a big red flag. :puffy:
