Holy cow! Even after watching all the videos, I still didn't understand just how enormous that pipe is. Fun stuff, thanks! Especially fun seeing George Dibos fix a cracked shank using hose clamps.

Utterly astonishing, beautiful work. Miraculous. And as lucky as I felt I was to find the pipe earlier this year. I feel even more fortunate that George agreed to accept the unbelievably daunting challenges involved in saving it. Thank you, George! Saying you are The Best seems to me a woeful understatement.

I had a physics professor once tell the class, "one of you will be able to solve this problem, 10% of you will understand it, and I want the rest of you to appreciate it". I definitely appreciate this solution, and almost tip over into understanding it after watching the videos, but I am a ways from solving problems like this one. Excellent work, and thanks for taking us a long for the ride.
