Interesting Two-Sided, Two-Faced Meerschaum

This is an interesting one. Two styles of carving on one Meer. I would imagine it is an apprentice demonstrating his skill to a Master. It is a Ural. I haven't been able to locate the twins in classic sculpture, so they are probably a generic Gemini. It may go up for sale shortly.

Looks like something Bekler might do.

It does have that Bekler oddness, though it's not his. 1970s Turkish carvers did all sorts of odd stuff, and zodiacv-themed material was huge then (I'm told, by someone who met Mr. Bekler in the 80s on one of his US tours for CAO, that one of the few bits of conversational English he knew was "What's your sign?")
