Interesting Eltang Pipe on EBay

Pipestud has an unusual (to me) looking Eltang on EBay. Anyone ever seen one like this before?

I've seen other footed pipes, Larsen comes to mind, but not an Eltang.

There's no scale or anything to compare against it so it looks a little weird to me. Like the foot makes it look more like furniture than a pipe. Could also just be then angle of the pic.

A bit gauche isn't it? That one would quickly find the back of my closet or the trash. That shape is easily made into a sitter by giving it a flat heel.

It's an Eltang so you know it's not going to sell for that price.

It looks to me like it's just his take on a footed Dublin that usually has just the one knob at the bottom. I don't find it particularly ugly but I already have a three footed Dublins in my collection

You'll notice in some of the other pictures what appears to be a bevel at the shank end edge...? Of course, it could just be the lighting.

Went for around 200$. Not too bad for an Eltang. More that I was willing.

I did get another one that was similar that I liked better. I do like a cutty occasionally and prefer small pipes, so this one fit the bill.
