This Barling pipe was made in the ‘70’s, likely by Oppenheimer, and is a Barling second.

There was a whole range of grades in the B. Barling & Sons product line, similar to their firsts.

They can be quite decent smokers.

Back in the late 19th century Barling had a “B. Barling & Sons” line, but I’ve only seen one of them, too little to comment on them.

TVF means “The Very Finest”

The stem is over rotated 90• clockwise.

Interesting. It was clear in the photos that the marking quality wasn't like that seen in the photos of the premium Barlings. That raised my doubts. Thank you very much.
