Grenci , calabria italy . Nice big pipe . i havent seen a lot of these . This pipe was said to be purchased from Dominico Grenci himself by my reletive during his last years as a US military servicemen , stationed overseas . My family said he really liked this pipe and only smoked it on certain occasions , and he told the story of visiting Grenci's shop once and picked this pipe . They claim he said that the pipe maker showed him his personally selected briar that he stored in a certain way and , that he was very selective of the briar he inspected and only used the very best pieces for hie free hand pipes . I thought the story was good , but I cant find any other info on it . it is too big for my preference , so I may place it for grabs . I was offered 100USD for it recently but I wanted to be sure it wasnt worth more , and I was unsure if I really wanted to part with it at that moment . I hope it wasnt a mistake .

Welcome aboard, cajundad. It has taken me 42 years to accumulate a collection of 30 pipes. You are truly blessed with not only the number, but the remarkable quality of these pieces. I only hope that, when I'm gone, someone will prize my pipes as you appreciate these.

Looks like you got some nice ones in that lot! Seem to remember reading that the Kaywoodie Mandarin pipes are among the more collectable Kaywoodies. Really like that little Weber! You send that wood yet?
