Seems I was able to bring some rather dry B&M Balkan mixture back to life using a rum infusion (shot glass and Tupperware technique), but am wondering if this opens the blend up to mold. I realize most mass produced blends are treated, but curious if the alcohol would neutralize this, and once it has evaporated would leave the tobacco unprotected.
Thanks

mine has been sitting for close to three weeks. No hit of mold.
I think once its infused you should dry it to a normal level if its wet.
Im no chemist but I would think that the evaporating alcohol prevents mold.

Fantastic. I don’t smoke enough to get through the amount I infused (oops) in a few days and I don’t want to waste it, so I’ll let it dry more and jar it. Thanks.
