Lots of information on the Dr. Grabow lines but no much on the Linkman pipes that apparently preceded them. This is a dainty little Linkman Fifty Grand that appears to be a style from the 30 or 40s. Any experts that want to weigh in ?

I'm not sure offhand when it was introduced, but the Fifty Grand was available at least from 1933-43. The retail price was $0.50 but it was often discounted a bit.
