It's tough to find public places, outdoors even, to light up.

I live close to WI/MI border near the big lake, . I would probably think Marquette area would be a place to start.

Edited: I say this because I have never seen anyone with a pipe where I live. I am the only pipe smoker....

There are plenty of pipe smokers in Sconnie and Da UP, but most are solitary.
