Hello all,
As I slowly build up my collection of pipes, I happened to find a nice bent, saddle bit pipe in my local B&M and all that's inscribed on it is the name "Travanti" on the briar and "Italy" on the stem. It was about $70, looked nice and felt good in my hands but clearly wasn't a major name. Well, as it turns out, it's my absolute favourite smoker. The problem is, I simply cannot find out a single thing about the provenance of this line, and the retailer had no idea either.
Is anybody familiar with this line? I wouldn't mind having a few more like it, to be honest!

OK, here are a few different shots. If you need any more let me know.

Nice looking piece with some great grain. I couldn't find anything online which leads me to suspect it is a sub-brand or made for a specific distributor. Anyway, enjoy it.

Yes, I've been Googling this piece, along with its companion, a larger flat-bottomed pipe. Not quite a poker, not a billiard either. Again, same markings: Travanti on the left side and Italy on the bottom of the stem. Nothing else.

I was very surprised to see how nice the grain was, for such a very reasonable price, too. And as I said, it smokes better than anything else I own, including the one pictured above.
