Bradley, does that thing take an entire tin to fill or what? Seriously how long does it take to smoke a full bowl in that monster? What type of blends do you smoke in it.

Cigrmaster -- that is very, very close to identical to one of the Ardors I am thinking of buying. I think it's a gorgeous pipe, and I'm glad to hear it smokes well!

doctorthoss, I don't think you can go wrong with that pipe. I smoke VA/Vabur flakes in it exclusively and it smokes them very cool and dry. It was a pleasure to break in and I built a nice cake very quickly with those flakes. It hangs really comfortably and even though I am not a fan of acrylic stems, the button design makes it easy to clench. If you do get one let us know how you like it.

Cigrmaster -- I'm looking forward to buying it soon. I'm not at all worried about the stem, as I prefer acrylic to vulcanite.

When you take the plunge, I would recommend that you get in touch with Steve Monjure. He is the Ardor rep here in the states. He can be found at most pipe shows, (if your fortunate enough to be able to attend one). If not you can get in touch with him at www.monjureinternational.com. Steve is a class act all the way and will not do you wrong.

I love my dublin Ardor ...

But a giant Ardor would require an incredible jaw grip a la Jaws from Roger Moore era James Bond.
