Drexel XIII is a good Virginia flake. Especially for free from IPSD

Salted: yep I agree SG FVF and SJF are great deals at that price . There was a thread that went cuckoo this morning / afternoon about SG availability , millennials, old fcks hoarding everything, entitlement , etc , comical . That was my motivation to recommend an EASY and cheap blend to start cellaring.
Cellaring is so fun and easy, just gotta go with the flow and let the enablers enable . Now have 4 lbs of stuff in my cart , still under $150. Adds a year to the cellar , thanks.

OGS +1, it's tinned but not expensive, and is a great first flake, but is pleasing to most, including experienced smokers. Not everyone likes it, but most do.

Yorktown, Lane 125th Anniversary, and Virginia Gentleman are solid, widely available Virginia type blends. They're just not flakes.
