I am a big fan of estate pipes. They are an excellent value and you tend to get much more pipe for your money than with a new pipe. They also have the benefit of arriving broken in. Generally, the older pipe will be of a higher degree of craftsmanship and actually crafted in the claimed country of origin (rather than "outsourced"). I've had positive experiences with a number of dealers. But I have to commend Viking Club for going above and beyond the call of duty with a degree of personalization that was unexpected.
