Impromptu Pipe Rest On The Go...

I'm sure everyone worked this out ages ago, but if you find yourself without a pipe rest you could always use your handy little czech tool. Thought this might be helpful for other newbies like myself out there...

Nice idea! I carry a Brebbia nail style tamper, so I've never really thought of doing that, but it's a great thought!

Cool! I got one of these things free with my last pipe (I had no intention of buying one) and this works better than I imagined. Once I'd got the width set right, it holds my pipe consistently. Thanks.

Yeah once you get it dialed in it works ok! Not rock solid but it’ll do in a pinch.
