Image Test - Pictures Uploaded are Upside Down

My uploaded images are upside down. They open normally on my desktop. Problem occured with two different images and in Chrome and Internet Explorer.
Any suggestions?

The above was landscape. Tested a portrait image and it was rotated 90 degrees.

BTW, photobucket changed their policies and block 3rd party hosting (meaning you can't link photos). All the links to pics I posted over the years are now broken.

You can still post images from Photobucket to third party sites. You just have to pay a mere $400 per annum for the service.

I use imgur and have had no such mysterious rotations.

Had the same problem loading onto my account - photo album.

To fix it I went to my photos on my iPad edited them and turned the image 360 Degrees, saved it and uploaded to my account (on this forum) - photo album.

Then posted them no problem.

I had nearly given up on posting pictures on the forum. ssjones told me about postimage. It's works great!

Thanks. It's a PITA to rotate but easier than using a 3rd party host.

This one came out fine!

I rotated it 3,600 degrees, and voilá!

Yeah, it isn't hard. In Windows, you don't even need to use an image editor. You can just right click the file name, and you get the option to rotate the image. Since most of the images I post are normally only used on these forums, rotating them isn't a big deal since I won't use them anywhere else.

I upload everything from my phone to the forum album. No issues.
