I went back to eating some red meat in April, after an abstinence of almost 40 years. Braising steak stews, in the main. It seems to have something I was missing in my nutrition, only eat about a pound a week but it makes a difference.

Great looking porterhouse! I watch cooking competitions from the UK and Australia from time to time and they always are deriding t-bones and porterhouse steaks calling them just pub food. They seem to think only filets are worth eating as a fine steak. Why? Yes filets are tender, but because they lack much fat they to me are lacking the great flavor of other cuts of meat. Ribeyes are king in my neck of the woods, but my late wife loved a good t-bone or porterhouse.
