Just pulled the trigger on a gorgeous Savinelli 673 and a few other ecoutrements to start my journey. Also got some Presbyterian blend and some My Mixture 965 from Peterson. Super excited to get started. I've been an avid cigar smoker for well over 12 years, been wanted to get into piping for a very long time, having briefly dabbled a bit in the past. Excited to be part of this community, will keep you all posted on my journey...

Congrats! It’s all downhill from here. There is no end, but it’s a fun ride!

Make sure to hit this thread up with your opinion on the two blends and folks will be able to make some additional recommendations based on your feedback.

Welcome from Central Oregon. You have made good choices for a good start. It may take you a bit to figure things out; however, stick with it and you will find so many wonderful flavors.

Welcome from Kansa City!
Great choices - yoo’re starting with a good pipe and two blends I really like. You may find that pipe smoking involves a little more technique than cigar smoking but once you’ve got the hang of it it’s very rewarding.
