There are three of the biggest construction yards in S. Korea, plus many other large, but smaller yards too. Gotta go where the work is.

I remember being offshore of the DMZ in the South China Sea. Despite handling a lot of messages to our ship, I was beginning to think the Navy had misplaced our vessel. The oiler kept bringing supplies, but a port was never on the agenda. Kodiak and Kwajalein were the only online I had; those were radio frequency transmission stations. I got to know the personalities of the frequencies, when they were strong, when they began to fade, and when they went out during the mid watch. Being alone aboard a small ship was a sort of refuge from the crowd.
