dogberry, welcome from central N.C. As an occasional smoker, you may have all the pipes you need. I can tell you, accumulating pipes can be a habit, good or bad. Welcome aboard. I spent some time in California, in Navy bootcamp, tech school, and home-ported in Long Beach, with a long stretch overseas (in the most literal sense). Later trips to California over the years, recreational and business.

welcome from the mediocre state of PA. Though we make a lot of snack food here. So we're kind of like Americas bulbous beer gut when you think about it.
If your state, Pennsylvania is the "bulbous beer gut"...then my state's claim has to be "the fetid boil on the ass of America" I live in shit-hole New York.

Welcome from SE Louisiana.
I spent 10 weeks in Alameda for basic training back in 1972. What I say of Alameda and San Francisco back then was beautiful and friendly.

I am sure there are other places that would argue that their area fits the bill. Though I worked for a company that handled management services for radiologists all over the place and I got to handle our New York clients. And the it was amazing how many alcoholics and junkies and people being robbed and shot there. Gosh we had one client that got shot every two years working at convivence stores. And yet people think the only rough part of New York are parts of the city.

I lived long enough to know that unchecked infections spread quickly to other areas. Sepsis follows. Sad.
